Project carried out: Aug-Oct 2018

A free-standing Ballycastle dash Presbyterian Church with three-stage entrance tower, built c.1904 to designs by Vincent Craig.

Removal of cementitious render following inappropriate repairs which had been stopped.  Careful removal of cement scud coat followed by raking out, repointing and repair of brick and stone masonry. Preparation of sample panels for approval by HED before re-rendering in Natural Hydraulic Lime with matching Ballycastle dash finish.  Sourcing of appropriate sand to provide colour-match to rest of building.  Mortars mixed with roll pan mixer and protected with hessian during the works. Stone cleaning on completion.
